Today, we travel to Condor Cross for breathtaking views of Colca Canyon, more than twice as deep as the Grand Canyon and one of Peru’s top sights. It’s also a prime spot for seeing the Andean Condor, one of the world’s most majestic birds in flight. The Colca Canyon region is home to this endangered vulture, with a wingspan of up to 10ft. Around midday, we continue east to Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca, where we’ll stay for two nights with views of the lake. A packed lunch is provided.
